As someone who has suffered from very sensitive and rosacea prone skin since childhood, I have been on a journey for solutions. Endless research. So much trial and error. So many products that just made it worse. I have FINALLY found some true favorites that have helped me so much. My skin is highly reactive, but each of these I have found to be soothing and have a very noticeable difference in my skin. These days, I feel like I can actually leave the house without makeup, and the first thing people notice about me may not be my rosacea! These are my rosacea, redness, and sensitive skincare favorites. Have you tried any of these? Did they help you? Let me know!
Favorite cleanser :

Since using this face wash, I have seen a MASSIVE improvement in my dry, red, angry skin. This was the product that began the real change. The Prequel Gleanser is one of only two face washes I will use to this day, years later.
Favorite Oil Based Cleanser :

Much less expensive than any other gentle oil cleanser I have tried. This one bottle lasted me ages and broke down all my makeup and skincare incredibly easily. After double cleansing with the Prequel Gleanser and Prequel Pre-Gleanse, my skin feels amazing. I previously couldn't even get my skin to feel that good even after moisturizer!
Favorite Serum :

https://amzn.to/4w8ktWK (Use at night to wake up to skin that is soothed and not inflamed)
This one is a new favorite. The Thome ABC serum has Azelaic Acid, B3, and Centella Asiatica. I have used these ingredients in many products in the past, even prescription and I have not had great results. This is why I have never recommended an Azelaic Acid or Centella Asiatica product, even though it's supposed to be amazing for rosacea. This I put on my cheeks at night before my moisturizer, and when I wake up in the morning, my cheeks are calm and have the least amount of redness I have ever seen.
Favorite Moisturizer :

(Lightweight, but deeply hydrating and soothing)
The Tatcha Silk Cream is not a rosacea product. It is however incredibly soothing for my angry rosacea skin that is also incredibly sensitive and super dry. I have tried HUNDREDS of moisturizers. This is my favorite. The price tag makes me groan, but it makes my skin happy.
Favorite Budget Moisturizer :

https://amzn.to/4teFCMf (A no frills, sensitive skin friendly moisturizer to soothe dry skin)
If I wasn't going to spend lots of money on a moisturizer and I just wanted something soothing and effective, this Prequel AM/PM moisturizer fits the bill in a budget friendly way.
Favorite Moisturizing Treatment- Budget Friendly:

This one took me by surprise! A soothing moisturizer, that reduced my redness AND improved my texture and made my skin soooooooo smooth. This one is an INCREDIBLE value.
Favorite Color Corrector :

https://amzn.to/4uLayVJ (Bonus points for the added SPF!)
The Erborian CC Red Correct changed my relationship with my skin, and makeup. This corrector works so well and just melts into the skin, that I don't even have to use makeup or concealer if I don't mind a little redness. If I want to use makeup to really neutralize my skin, I can use much lighter coverage and actually eliminate the appearance of rosacea at all. Additionally if I go out with only the Erborian on my face, the SPF is not only a sun protectant but also protects my skin from environmental irritants. These are some of my biggest triggers, so this one will always be a winner to me.
Favorite Sunscreen :

This is a new sunscreen but it is soothing to my skin, wears wonderfully under makeup and just makes my rosacea ridden cheeks happy, which makes me happy.
Favorite Budget Sunscreen :

https://amzn.to/4n4kgzA (Also amazing under makeup!)
Amazing price point for a multitasking sunscreen like this one. It will do exactly what you need it to do, and doesn't aggravate rosacea in the process. If you wear makeup, this one doubles as a blurring primer. Great product that isn't talked about enough.
